this is the end

Today is my last day of work. It still isn't very real to me. But seems to be to everyone else. I was sitting here at my desk and Burrow comes up behind me and gives me a hug and a big kiss on the cheek. It was VERY weird.

Her first issue was with the shrunken head on the Knight Bus and then with the little talk that Lupin and Harry have about how wonderful Lily was.  There were other things as well but she didn't see much more than that.  She wants the movies to be exactly like the books.  I know that JKR liked the movie, so I hope Ang gives the movie another try when it comes out on video.

how could anyody dislike HP3?  What were her primary concerns?

We watched LOTR3 last night, and I bawled my eyes out again.  They still hurt today.  I just love Billy Boyd so much!

oh the shame

I can't believe my sister, Ang,  she disliked HP3 so much she actually walked out on it!  We were talking last night and we were kind of arguing about it and finally I had to change the subject because I was getting so upset at her.  Ugh, how can this be?

hey can I get chapter 7?  There was something in chapter 6 that I had a question about but I don't have it here, so I will ask later.

That sounds awesome!  I just watched Totoro the other day and made Nat watch with me, she  liked it.

I shipped five boxes to Scott today and it was $63.00  I was hoping it would be less expensive.  Oh well.

hey, this is so awesome--one of my all-time favorite authors, diana wynne jones, has a book called howl's moving castle. anyway, studio ghibli is making it into a movie!!  see here for more info.

Can you believe that I only have 4 more days of work?  I'm starting to take desk things home today.  This morning was really frustrating so I am really ready to go.

How is that monster child of yours behaving?  Andrew whats-his-face, that choral customer that has a son Fiona's age, was in today and his son was making that same sound that Fi was making yeasterday when we were on the phone.

I know J. mentioned she wanted her wedding guests to perform for her as the entertainment.  Would you--S--like to do a recorder duet with me?  I have a sop. rec. here at the house.  Could you find us a cool, maybe Renaissance duet?

a fab dress

I help Jarusha put the grommets in her dress last night.  It is almost done and is SO beautiful.   She and Kurt then took me out for sushi, it was fun.

If you get a chance, see the movie "Things You Can Tell Just by looking at her" (got tired of hitting shift).  Sooooooooo good.  Calista Flockhart, Glenn Close, Cameron Diaz, Holly Hunter--cool chick flick drama life film.  Good good.

W, I am excited to blog with you and the other girls!  I hope they join the fun.  I saw the cutest little alterna-family at the pool today.  I also went down the slide many times, so much fun.  I hope to send your Raffi CD soon.  Nat & I were listening to it and we listed to Joshua Giraffe 4 times in a row singing at the top of our lungs each time.
