big stuff

I had an email earlier today from Mike and Pam. They are moving to China. No other details were given. I'm excited to learn the details and will let you know as soon as I know.

h2o

of course we will be taking LOTS of pictures, but they will be analog, so you have to wait ... however long it takes until they get developed. Uggh.

Hey, your mummy costume looked great. I'm working on 2 costumes for myself. One is for tonight's haunted house. I'm going as a small medium at large (handcuffs, Professor Trelawny type outfit). Then tomorrow, I am going to be green from head to toe. Jak is building me a torch, and I'm krafting my crown tonight. I'm adding a Kerry-Edwards bumper sticker to the mix. Any guesses what I'm going as?

Yes, the Statue of Liberty, campaigning for the Dems! Isn't that clever? I mean, come on. Lady Liberty would NEVER vote for Bush!

crazy

That is so crazy!

I don't get it. I wrote a big post 2 days ago and the computer Gods decided to eat it. It wasn't really important, just ranting about dorm drama.

I hope that you girls have a fantastic Halloween, I would love to see a pic of your costumes, hint hint.

hi, Smoggi!

Thanks for having us at your house. It was fun!

I had an okay time at Kristina's. It was good to see Bert, but Isaac is verrrrrrrrrrrrry difficult. Also, just being around my sister gives me a stomach ache. She is so desperately unhappy, so often.

quick request

hey, do you think you could make it to the library before we get there and pick up a handful of kid's books? fi likes animals, trains, boats and trucks a lot, and she's pretty much into the level of book just beyond board book.

if not, maybe we can stop by a library on friday.

more email problems

Since your email hates me I will post this email form scott on the blog.

Hey, Shayna:

No problem having you and your friend stay with us. Unfortunately, our
bathroom remodel saga continues, though they are suppose to be finishing
re-doing the grout on the tiles, and re-hanging the light fixture today, so
there is hope.

What that means is that our house is still pretty messy, if you all don't
mind stepping over boxes and things occasionally.

We don't really have good accomodations for a toddler, but if Wendy and
Fiona can share a queen-size bed we should be okay. We also have a second
room with a futon, and there's also a sleeper sofa in the family room.

Do me a favor, and let me know what type of food we should stock up on.
There is a store within 5 minutes of our house so we can stop by once they
arrive as well for any incidentals. We'll try to have something for dinner
on Thursday. So let me know what would be good, or if you have a craving
for anything in particular.

Let me know the specifics of their arrival once you know more, and we'll be
around. Sorry we haven't kept in touch well the past couple of weeks, but
the housework has taken all of our attention.

We'll talk to you soon.
Scott.

that kid is super silly!

I would love to help you with your hat. It will be fun.

I talked to J last night it was really nice. I can't wait to see all you girls!
I just made Fi some peanut butter toast and she sucked all the p.b. off the bread, leaving the weird gooey dough.

What a kid!

Cool museum!

I can't wait to go HERE: The Corcoran Museum of Art.

I finished my hat last night and think it's cool. I hope you can help me arrange the veil part in a cool way--it's very multi-arrangment friendly, and there are a lot of different ways to pin it on. I know you'll find the coolest!
