yee-haw!

Holy shit, am I interested in making the cake! And boy, do I want to help with the planning!! You just give me some parameters, and I'm all over it!!!!!

I am so excited!!

So ... where do you want to throw this party? Your grandma's house? Your folks's? A park in Portland?

Fiona's cake turned out great, just so you know. I will email a picture. And later on in summer, my orange mint and pineapple sage will be in full swing, so we could have some beautiful herbal touches. . .

Swooon. I love parties!

the plans

sorry so long to reply, life is crazy!

Not a whole lot of details to metion. Our fams are having brunch together on Mother's Day to meet. After that we still don't have any day in particular. When we decide I want to look nice and I've convinced him to wear a polo and khakis. His friend does some photography so he will be there to take pics. I also want to have some flowers and my hair down but not sure how yet.

I know that we aren't being terribly traditional but I still want some pics to share.

At some point after we do the getting married part his family wants to throw us a reception, so we are going to register, probably at Target. THen we are going to plan a trip to Oregon for a west coast reception. I might need you to help with some of the planning, if you don't mind. We are probably paying for everything so it needs to be pretty low key. I will wear the dress to both parties, as long as it is warm enough.

Are you still interested in making a cake, many moons ago you mentioned something of the sort.

As I have more info I will share, promise.

Inquiring minds

I would like some more details about wedding stuff, missy. Like, are you doing something--I mean, you bought a wedding dress. Will you need a cake? Will you be in Oregon, or in DC?

Maybe I will try to call. Prognosis: dim.

Meow!

Hey-o Smoggi! J fixed the comp, so we're Netting again!

John is going to give me a lesson on his music-editing program (hopefully tonight), so I can play around making my own electronic music. He has this great video game soundtrack that I am hoping to turn into lullaby music. I am VERY excited!

Your dress is pretty, and it'll be totally wearable as a sundress (if you want).

I made toasted soybeans the other day for a snack, and they are gooood. Cheap and easy high protein nibbles. I recommend them.

Whoo-hoo!

Wedding dress? I thought you weren't doing anything--thank goodness. If ever there was a cool bride chick, it's you. So ... more details?

Internet is down at our house, so am checking at work. But Kaz promises it should be up again ... someday.

Meow! FIona's birthday is NEXT WEEKEND! WOW!
Abso-toot-ly! I bought a wedding dress today, but I can't find a good pic online. I sent you an ok pic. Target also have a line of "Bride-to-be" stuff in their dollar section. I got a memory book, a magnetic to-do pad, and a gift box for Julie. I'll try to send your package this week.
